Absolutely stunning, it is a beautiful Chateau very friendly people and looked after well
The setting is gorgeous, but the rooms are worn and not looked after well. The views are beautiful, but there was an incredibly loud wedding that went on throughout the night. I would have liked to be notified of this beforehand.
Me and my partner (booked under Taylor Morgan) booked to stay at this chateau, as we were viewing as a potential wedding venue.
The place wasn’t for us, so before we settled in our room asked could we have a potential refund so we could stay elsewhere. The staff were very nice and agreed our refund.
They attempted to refund our card but actually charged our card again and couldn’t figure out how to refund us.
We gave our bank details to the manager and was informed we would be refunded the following day.
We are 2 weeks on and still have not received our refund. And are over £320 out of pocket.
We have rang and emailed several times, each time we are told it will be processed the next day.
We really need the refund ASAP.
As soon as the refund is paid, I am happy to retract this review.
The exterior of the chateau is beautiful, however the rooms are very small and dated.
We woke up to multiple bed bug bites after our stay at Chateau Ermenonville. Cleanliness needs to be better as the bedsheets weren't clean when we got there.
The town itself had no restaurants open the day we visited and the chateau restaurant was not open either which was inconvenient.
Very nice stay here again after 25 years we celebrated our marriage here. Same suite we got married in excellent shape including a completely renovated bathroom. Very nice people at reception. Due to renovations they may not supply all services.
When looking for an experience of staying in an old chateau just outside of Paris it's great. Good breakfast and possibilities of sightseeing nearby. I would recommend to book by phone and discuss the possibilities for rooms. That could make the experience just that little bit more special..
The building is slightly dated and worn, which is probably why it's very reasonably priced to stay.
Beautiful building. Friendly staff. Cafe literally next door. Nice walks in …
AVOID! I would not recommend this hotel at all. Customer service here is below standard and the room is very basic for the price charged. We had to chase by phone, email, in person several times to get confirmation of the room and requested …
